If you’d like to experiment with new ways to improve AdSense monetization but aren’t sure where to start, you may want to check out some of the ideas and resources listed here.

Inside AdSense Blog

Inside AdSense

In addition to being a good general source of information, the blog also shares trends and insights that could be helpful when planning or revising your monetization strategy.

DoubleClick Publisher Blog

Similar to Inside AdSense, the [DoubleClick Publisher Blog](https://doubleclickpublishers.blogspot.com/) is the official resource for announcements and updates related to DoubleClick for Publishers. Even if you’re not a DoubleClick user, you may still want to follow the blog for its general tips and advice on display ad optimization.

Google AdSense YouTube Channel

On Google’s [YouTube Channel dedicated to AdSense](https://www.youtube.com/user/InsideAdSense/), you’ll find a mix of video tutorials and short featured stories that highlight the successes of AdSense publishers along with several quick tips and tricks for optimizing your ads.

If you’re fairly new to AdSense or if you just need a quick refresher, you may want to check out the videos in the _Optimizing AdSense_ series. Unfortunately, no playlist has been created to group the content in this series together, but you can find them all on the Videos tab of the channel. Just look for the video titled _Lesson 1.0: Understanding CPC and CPM_ and follow the rest of the series from there.

Webmaster World

[Webmaster World](https://www.webmasterworld.com/) is one of the oldest and most respected forums for publishers and website owners, covering any and all topics related to running a website. The site has a very active message board on Google AdSense on which others often share tips and first-hand experiences. Topics covered on other message boards include search engine optimization (SEO), WordPress development and content management.

A few areas of Webmaster World are only available to paid subscribers, but most of the topic areas are free for everyone. If you want to post a question or add to the discussion, you will need to create a free account.

Monetize Pros

In addition to providing AdSense and monetization tips, [Monetize Pros](https://monetizepros.com/ad-network-reviews/outbrain/) has an entire section of its site dedicated to ad network reviews that is updated on a regular basis. The reviews are quite detailed, offering the pros and cons of each network along with insights on how you can incorporate different options into your advertising strategy.

Monetize Pros also has a number of free guides and templates available for both new and seasoned site owners, including a comprehensive write-up about display advertising with real-world examples of how publishers are incorporating different ad sizes into their page layouts.

Problogger

Darren Rowse started [Problogger](https://www.problogger.net/) in 2004 to chronicle his experiences in web publishing and to share what he was learning about monetization strategies with other bloggers. Over the years, Problogger has grown to become one of the most-respected sites of its kind and to receive 900K to 1 million visits per month (according to [SimilarWeb](https://www.similarweb.com/website/problogger.net?utm_source=spyonweb.com&utm_medium=SourcesWidget&utm_campaign=mb_SourcesWidget_spyonweb.com#overview)).

Rowse and other Problogger contributors regularly publish tips and tutorials on content strategy, affiliate marketing, traffic building and other topics both directly and indirectly related to monetizing web sites.

Quora — AdSense Tips

[Quora](https://www.quora.com/) is a great resource for a lot of different topics, but it can be particularly helpful for publishers and website owners. At its heart, Quora is a “question and answer” type of website that allows anyone to ask or respond to a request for information. On top of that, you can follow specific topic areas – such as Publishing, Internet Advertising and Google AdSense – and connect with other members on the site who regularly contribute useful information.

If you’re looking for help with a specific issue, you can search Quora to see what others have had to say or even pose your own form of the question to the community. When searching you can also uncover new topics to follow, such as the [Ad Networks, Ad Exchanges and Ad Services](https://www.quora.com/topic/Ad-Networks-Ad-Exchanges-and-Ad-Services) feed.

Google AdSense on Google+

If you’re a Google+ user and you’re not following the [Google AdSense page](https://plus.google.com/u/0/+AdSense/posts) on that social network yet, you may want to start. A lot of the content shared on this page comes from the Inside AdSense blog, but sometimes the page managers pass on other announcements and tips that can be pretty useful.

You may also want to check out some of the unofficial communities for publishers that have sprung up on Google+. Just search on a topic you’re interested in (such as AdSense or content marketing) and filter the results by selecting Communities. If you see any that appeal to you, click the Join button and posts from that community will start appearing in your Home stream.

Ad Ops Professionals Group on LinkedIn

There are quite a few groups on LinkedIn for publishers who like to discuss monetization strategies and content marketing, including [Ad Ops Professionals by Ad Tech Daily & GeoEdge](https://www.linkedin.com/groups/154454). This active group has almost 15,000 members and invites discussions on topics related to web revenue optimization, ad-supported sites and similar areas of interest.

Fat Stacks Entrepreneur

At [Fat Stacks Entrepreneur](https://fatstacksblog.com/), Jon Dykstra shares advice and strategies he’s used over the last few years to build successful niche sites. He discusses many of his experiments in great detail so you can more easily get a sense of whether they’re a good fit for your site – and he has a knack for explaining techy details in a way that’s easy to understand. There’s also a section of the blog dedicated to reviews of tools he’s used to increase ad revenues.

Native – Something a Little Different

Okay, so you’re probably not going to see much about AdSense on [Sharethrough’s Native blog](https://nativeadvertising.com/), but you will find lots of interesting information about native advertising and how it is impacting the monetization efforts of many digital publishers. If you’ve been wanting to learn more about native ads, this is a great place to start.

And, of course, the team at Ezoic enjoys talking about ad testing and optimization, revenue strategies and other issues that affect online publishing, too – so don’t forget to sign up for our newsletter by filling out the short form in the right sidebar of this page!
