It’s usually one of the first things people see about your site--before they even click on it--so they’re more important than most people think. To write a good title tag, you firstly want to choose one based on keywords. Secondly, we want to find keywords that can be tied together in an article. You should always choose one main keyword that gets a larger amount of search volume; this way, you can target long-tail variations of that same keyword, and you’ll rank for those lower-volume keywords faster. You can also frontload your keyword in title tags by putting the targeted keyword at the beginning of the longtail keyword as an SEO benefit. It's worth testing title tags to see which one is clicked on more often. You can do this by looking at your Google Analytics with one title tag for a certain landing page, switching it, and then checking Google Analytics again.
